Salary and Benefits
The salary and benefits for this position are competitive and structured as follows:
- Basic Salary: Ksh 18,250 rising incrementally to Ksh 22,720, with pay increments as outlined:
- Starting at Ksh 18,250 with increments of Ksh 510, continuing to a maximum of Ksh 22,720.
- Allowances:
- Commuter Allowance: Kshs. 3,000 per month.
- House Allowance: Based on the region of deployment.
- Leave Allowance: Kshs. 4,000 annually.
- Leave Entitlement: 30 working days per year.
Duties and Responsibilities
This entry-level position serves as the training grade for this cadre, wherein the Office Assistant III will work under the guidance and supervision of senior officers to complete their tasks efficiently.
The responsibilities include ensuring office cleanliness by undertaking tasks such as cleaning office spaces, equipment, and apparatus; maintaining general office sanitation through litter collection and disposal; dusting and arranging furniture in an orderly manner to create a habitable environment; dispatching letters and files between departments as required; and performing tasks related to office support, such as photocopying, scanning, binding, and lamination to assist in daily administrative operations.
Requirements
For appointment to the grade of Office Assistant III (CSG 16), candidates must possess the following qualification:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with a minimum mean grade of D.
