Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Prepare budget forecasts
  • Publish financial statements in time
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Reconcile account payables, receivables and warehouse Stocks
  • Ensure timely bank payments and reconciliations
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Manage balance sheets, cash flow and profit/loss statements
  • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations
  • Must be good in financial data interpretations and presentations

Requirements and skills

  • Work experience as an Accountant Not less than 2 years
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like SAP, FreshBooks and QuickBooks, most preferable acquaintance with SAP software
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment to Business mission.
  • Accountability and confidentiality.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Commerce (Finance or Accounting Option)
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in commercial.
  • Certified public accountant (CPAK) or any Credit Management course
