How to Create a Teachers Service Commission TPAD Account

How to Create a Teachers Service Commission TPAD Account

The Teachers Service Commission, TSC, has made available the Teacher Performance Appraisal and Development system to teachers in Kenya. It is here that a teacher can assess and monitor their professional performance. Therefore, teachers are expected to create a TPAD account, through which they can access the appraisal system, fill out evaluations, and track the progress of their professional development.

Creating a TPAD account is quite straightforward. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to the TPAD 2 Portal

Open your browser and log in to the TPAD 2 portal at tpad2.tsc.go.ke.

Ensure you are using the correct TSC TPAD website; there are some fraud websites intended to scam teachers.

Step 2: Creating an Account

In the TPAD home page, click on “Create Account” or “Register.”

You will be taken to a registration form where you can identify your personal details.

Step 3: Creating your TSC Number

Enter your TSC number; this is your unique number given to you by the Teachers Service Commission.

This is because the number authenticates that you are indeed a registered teacher with the commission.

Step 4: Fill in Personal Info

Fill in the information required, including ID Number, Full Name, Date of Birth, Email Address, and Telephone Number.

Here, ensure that the information given corresponds to what you have in your TSC records to help in verification.

Step 5: Create a Password

Create a strong password for the TPAD account. The password must combine letters, numbers, and special characters to create one solid password.

Confirm your password by scrolling the cursor in the field provided for a repeat of the password.

Step 6: Submit Registration Information

Check for all information for correctness, then click on “Submit” to complete registration.

The system will validate these details, and a success message will appear when successful.

Step 7: Activate Your TPAD Account

In your email, look for an account activation link from TSC and click on the link to activate your TPAD account.

Your account will now be activated and ready for use.

Step 8: Log in to Your TPAD Account

Go back to the TPAD portal and login using the TSC number and password.

You may now log in to access your dashboard, where you can manage your performance appraisals and other features provided by TSC.
