Role Description

Job Title: Human Resource Business Partner

Positions available: 1

Location: Kenya (Athi River).

The HRBP will be responsible for ensuring that the Human Resource needs align with business needs by analyzing metrics and ensure HR practices align with the organization goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Efficiency Management:

Monthly headcount review: Confirm the number of people in each position, and apply the Online application (OA) in time to make up for the headcount deficit.

Attendance management:

Conduct a daily audit of attendance to confirm consistency between online and paper records, ensuring accurate tracking of staff attendance and management of working hours.

System Maintenance:

Regularly verify with the production departments that employees’ system positions align with their actual job roles. Address any discrepancies promptly, documenting the reasons for changes and implementing process controls to reduce the recurrence of similar issues.

4. Talent development:

Coordinating promotion of production operation sequence employees: such as machine operators and packers. Regularly update the list of candidates in the localized talent reserve pool (through internal training and external recruitment) and assist in coordinating the related processes.

4. Performance management:

Monthly performance collection and summation in liaison with corresponding department heads.

Improvement of local employee performance system.

Compensation Management:

Salary survey and market bench marking and make salary adjustment suggestions to the company based on the results to ensure that the company’s salary strategy is market competitive and legal.

Conduct turnover rate statistics and analysis to identify core positions that require focus on incentives and retention, as well as positions with abnormal turnover rates.

6. Separation Management:

Conduct exit interviews with employees leaving key positions ,analyse and summarize the reasons for leaving.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum 8 years experience with 3 years working as a HRBP/HR Manager handling a large workforce.

Manufacturing or factory background preferred.

Bachelor degree in Human resource management or a business related course with specialization in Human resources.

CHRP Certification will be a added advantage

Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage change within the organization.

Knowledge of business and cross-cultural competence.
