Internship Vacancies at County Assembly of Nakuru
The Nakuru County Assembly Service Board has launched an internship program geared towards giving unemployed diploma and bachelor’s degree graduates hands-on training for skills acquisition to enhance future employability.
The internship program shall be for a non-renewable period of one (1) year. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to fill out the internship form and attach their academic and professional qualification certificates, National ID and copies of testimonials.
This opportunity is available to Kenyan citizens who graduated in the last three (3) years (Graduation dates after July, 2021) and have no previous work experience related to their area of study. Candidates who have previously undergone similar internship programs are disqualified from applying to this program.
1. DIRECTORATE OF COMMITTEE SERVICES
a) Committee Services Department Vacancy No: INT/01/2024 (2 Positions)
Stipend – Kshs. 23,000 per month.
Requirements;
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following Social Sciences: Economics, Public Administration, Public Policy, Human Resource Management, Law, Communication, Business Administration, Education, or Commerce from a recognized institution;
Evidence of Computer proficiency.
2. DIRECTORATE OF LEGISLATIVE, LEGAL, RESEARCH & LIBRARY SERVICES
a) Legislative Services Department Vacancy No: INT/02/2024 (1 Position)
Stipend – Kshs. 23,000 per month.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following Social Sciences: Economics, Public Administration, Public Policy, Human Resource Management, Law, Communication, Business Administration, Education, or Commerce from a recognized institution;
Proficiency in computer applications.
b) Legal, Research & Library Department Vacancy No: INT/03/2024(1 Position)
Stipend – Kshs. 23,000 per month.
Requirements
Bachelor of Law degree from a recognized institution;
Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law (awaiting admission)

3. DIRECTORATE OF HANSARD & INFORMATION SERVICES
a) Hansard Department Vacancy No: INT/04/2024 (1 Position)
Stipend – Kshs. 23,000 per month.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication/Media/Linguistics majoring in English or Kiswahili from a recognized institution;
Be proficient in Typing II (30 w.p.m.) and/or Audio Typing I and II;
Proficiency in computer applications.
b) ICT Department Vacancy No. INT/05/2024 (1 Position)
Stipend – Kshs. 18,000 per month.
Requirements
Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Technology or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
4. DIRECTORATE OF BUDGET & FISCAL PLANNING
a) Budget Department Vacancy No: INT/06/2024 (1 Position)
Stipend – Kshs. 23,000 per month.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Statistics, Finance, or Mathematics from a recognized institution;

5. DIRECTORATE OF FINANCE & ACCOUNTS

Requirements
Diploma in Commerce (Accounting or Finance option), Business Administration (Accounting option) from a recognized institution; OR Certified Public Accountants (CPA PART II) Examination;

Requirements
Diploma in Stores Management/Supply Chain Management from a recognized institution;

7. DIRECTORATE OF HUMAN RESOURCE & ADMINISTRATION

Stipend – Kshs. 18,000 per month.
Requirements
Diploma in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration from a recognized Institution;
Proficiency in computer applications.
