The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), a state corporation established under the Films and Stage Plays Act (Cap 222), is responsible for regulating film content creation, broadcast, distribution, and exhibition in Kenya. KFCB’s mission is to foster sector growth while protecting children and minors from harmful content. To enhance its capacity to fulfill its statutory mandate, KFCB invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of:

Position: Chief Executive Officer
Grade: KFCB 1
Terms of Service: Three (3) years contract, renewable once subject to satisfactory performance.

  3. Chapter Six Requirements: Upon an offer of employment, the successful candidate must provide:
    • Valid Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
    • Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
    • Valid Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
    • Valid Clearance Certificate from an accredited Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
    • Valid Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
