Pharmaceutical Technologist III Jg, Cpsb 11 (2 Posts) at Migori County Public Service Board

Duties and Responsibilities
i.    Provide counseling on prescribed medications where appropriate
ii.    Receiving, interpreting and processing prescriptions
iii.    Recording prescriptions in the pharmacy unit
iv.    Pre packing, repacking and writing instructions on labels
v.    Counseling patients on usage of drugs in a pharmacy unit
vi.    Maintaining drug registers and books
vii.    Stock taking of drugs and medicinal devices on monthly basis
Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
i.    Be a Kenyan citizen.
ii.    Minimum of C+ (Plus) in KCSE
iii.    Diploma in either Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Technology or equivalent qualification approved by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board from recognized institution
iv.    Certificate of enrollment as a pharmaceutical Technologist awarded by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
v.    Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution is an added advantage
