Quality Assurance Analyst – Testing at Prodapt

Engage in requirement gathering and understanding, and do detailing of the same as a part of Test planning.

Responsibilities

• Manual Testing: Execute test cases and document results. Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results. Assist in the creation of automation frameworks.
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with the development team to optimize performance based on findings.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and issues to stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in testing. Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

Minimum Educational Level – Bachelor Degree

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java scripts, APPIUM, Selenium) is a plus.
• 1-3 years of work experience
