Data Analytics Manager
We are seeking a Data Analytics Manager to lead a team of data analysts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics, the Data Analytics Manager will be responsible for developing the reporting strategy and providing analytical support to the Service Delivery teams managing a growing portfolio of cutting edge AI annotation projects. This role will be key to ensuring Sama’s project teams have the insights and analytics to optimally manage and deliver our client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their analytical needs and provide insights to drive decision-making.
- Design and implement data models and predictive analytics to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain standard dashboards and reporting tools that present key metrics and insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all analytics processes and systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with the product team on data strategy, requirements gathering and prioritization of data analytics initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5-6 years of experience in data analysis, with 1-2Â years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Data/Looker Studio) and ETL processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Data engineering experience – ability to model data and understand how to efficiently create resilient data pipelines
- Experience with financial data reporting is an added advantage
- BPO Experience is a nice to have
Data Analytics Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets, creating reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and business objectives.
- Utilize statistical methods and tools to interpret data and provide insights.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports and dashboards that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement based on data analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data audits.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4-6 years experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Google Sheets, Excel, Python, R, Data/Looker Studio, Looker, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of data governance and best practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with data engineering and machine learning concepts and techniques is an advantage
- Familiarity with financial data and processes
